Research, research, research
Find out everything about the job, the company, what it does, what its achievements are, why you would like to work for it, how you could contribute to its success
Plan ahead
Search job interview question data base and think about how you would answer some of them. Think about questions you would like to ask potential employers
Dress for success
Whatever the company dress code is, the safest thing is to dress smartly.
AT THE JOB INTERVIEW:
- Come 15-20 minutes earlier
- Listen carefully [comment]
- Maintain eye contact [comment]
- Be positive [comment]
- Be inquisitive [comment]
- Prepare examples which will illustrate your skills and abilities [comment]
- Don’t lie about your achievements and skills!
- Don’t copy somebody else’s answers to similar questions!

Maintain eye contact
If you don't, some people might think you are hiding something
Be positive
Try not to talk negatively about your previous job, employer etc. Be optimistic, mention the thing you learnt on your previous jobs
Be inquisitive
Prepare questions for the interviewer about the job, what your responsibilities would be etc.
Prepare examples which will illustrate your skills and abilities
Describe situations in which you managed to deal with difficulties, how you overcame them etc
